Complete Guide To Root and Un root Motorola Droid X2 with one Click

If you ‘ve just got the Motorola Droid X2 and want to root it than you will be glad to know that the Developers have successfully rooted the Droid X2 even with a single Click using Gingerbreak. For the newbie what is rooting? Rooting is actually about accessing the System files of your Android Phone. By rooting your Device you can access the System files, Install Custom Rom Files and also install Third Party applications. This will make your Tablet more attractive and amazing features. Rooting will neither unlocks your Android phone nor will make Android Market free. Pre-root Instructions:This will VOID your warranty, though the warranty can be claimed after un rooting the device.This is a Factory-Reset for your Tablet. Copy this .apk and install it on your Droid. Follow this tutorial to install .apk files from PC.

After installing this app, click on Root Device Option

After selecting the option, you will have to wait for some time till the rooting process is completed. Please note that the device may take up to 10 minutes as it also wipes the cache in your phone.

After installation is completed, you will also need to install applications such as Busybox. You can install them from Android Market. And make sure Superuser.apk is installed on your Droid x2 and working perfect.

UN Rooting Instructions:
