How to install Netflix on any Android Phone [Complete Guide]?

Few days back, Official Netflix app was released for the android devices. They have modified the version of Netflix so that you can install and use it on any Android phone and all you need to have is Froyo or the latest version installed on your Droid. How to Do?

Actually, installing the Netflix app is just like simply installing the .Apk from your PC (Posted Here) But for your easiness, we will elaborate them here

Download the apk file from above links. Actually, there are three apps, if you are getting the incompatibility error than try the other one.

copy it to the specific Folder on your Android Phone

Go to Settings >applications and Enable Unknown Sources

Go to android market and install Astro file Manager

Go to Astro File manager on your Android phone and Select the previously copied (.apk) file

Click on Application manager on android Device

Click on install and install the application.

Viola! You have successfully installed the Netflix app on your Android Phone.

Download the Gingerbreak.apk (found here) or mirror here and extract it.

Password for the winrar file is maboot.com

Copy this .apk and install it on your Droid. Follow this tutorial to install .apk files from PC.

After installing this app, click on Root Device Option

After selecting the option, you will have to wait for some time till the rooting process is completed. Please note that the device may take up to 10 minutes as it also wipes the cache in your phone.

After installation is completed, you will also need to install applications such as Busybox. You can install them from Android Market. And make sure Superuser.apk is installed on your Droid x2 and working perfect.

UN Rooting Instructions:

Now, in case your Droid x2 is having some problems and you want to claim its warranty. Simply uninstall the Gingerbreak application.

Viola, in this way you have successfully rooted your Droid x2 or alternatively you have Un rooted your Droid x2.

Note:

As the rooting process will wipe your cache, so all your APN settings will also be reset. Contact your Service provider to get more information about APN settings and don’t forget to get the information about MMS settings as well.

Just Click on Rooting and you are done. This is the simplest method of rooting LG Optimus 2X

Download Z4root from above links and extract it.

After installing you will see an icon in Applications

Simple Run it and Click on Permanent Root.

This will automatically root your Optimus 2X.

However, if you face any problem such as stuck at some position, restart your Device and start this application again.

You will see following messages on your screen

“Acquiring root shell…” and “Please wait while root operations complete…”

Don’t do anything at this point.

After successful operation, your phone will be automatically rebooted. And you will see SUPERUSER application under applications.

Viola! You have successfully rooted LG Optimus 2X.
