Use Paypal for Facebook credits payout

If you are developer using Facebook Credits, then is here is good news with Paypal being added as alternative payout option. Till now each person signing up for Facebook Credits had to supply additional credentials to authorize payouts to their bank account. If bank account option is not available, then person was not able to use Facebook Credits. Not any more with introduction of Paypal as another option for Facebook Credits payout. This will be useful for users in over 22 countries, that previously only had bank account option for Facebook Credits payout.

1. While signing up for Facebook Credits for the first time look for ‘Payout Information’ option.

2. Click to select to link your existing Paypal account or create a new Paypal account for purpose of Facebook Credits payout. You may also use the default of option of authorizing bank account for payouts. [via dev blog]

New Countries with Paypal option for Facebook Credits payout include: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, China, French Guiana, Guadeloupe, India, Indonesia, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, Martinique, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Reunion, South Korea, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand and Turkey.

Developers with option to use Paypal account along with option of bank account include countries like: United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain and Sweden.

Anonymously Comments On Facebook

Yeah, you read it right. Now you can comment on Facebook Comments anonymously. There is a new Chrome Extension; Defaceable, which allows you to do so. Once you install this extension you can comment on Facebook and on other websites which uses Facebook comments.


According to TechCrunch this is how it works:



Defaceable works by parsing the html code and extracting the ID of the comments you’re looking at, checking against the Defaceable database for defacements it can show you.

Once you have installed the extension, you will see a ‘Deface’ label on the Facebook comment’s section. Click Deface and you are good to go. But sadly you can only use fruits as your disguised cover. After typing the comment, just hit the ‘Deface’ button.

Click on it, instead your Name a fruit name with a display picture of that fruit will be shown.

After commenting, hit enter and your comment will be added.

You can Click on that fruit and it will redirect you to the Defaceable website, where you can see the trending Topics and Other fruits as well :P

First of all make sure that you have your Mobile Phone with you so that you can access your Account by that authentication code, that Facebook will send to your Mobile Phone

Go to Accounts settings under Account on Top right of Facebook

After that Click on Account Security and click on Change

Check the send me a text message and click on Save to save it.
