JailbreakMe 3.0 to Jailbreak iPad 2 (Confirmed)

Here is quick update for all the people who are waiting for ipad 2 jailbreak, Now its Finally Conformed that Comex is Going to Jailbreak our ipad 2. he has posted on Twitter that JailbreakMe 3.0 is almost Ready and soon it will be available.

Comex has also mentioned that JailbreakMe 3.0 will not jailbreak iOS 5 on iPad 2, rather it will only jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 till 4.3.3 on iPad 2. JailbreakMe 3.0 will also work on iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod touch 3G, 4G, iPad 1 and of course, the iPad 2.

it mean Current version of jailbreakMe 3.0 wont jailbreak your ios 5, which is in beta 1 right now, on iPad 2. So those who are willing to jailbreak iPad 2 and have upgraded to iOS 5 beta 1, it is recommended that you downgrade iPad 2 to iOS 4.3.3, in order to be able to run Cydia on iPad 2.

JailbreakMe 3.0 Coming to jailbreak iPad 2

Apple has Released ipad 2 3Months back and from that time till we have not received any tools to jailbreak ipad 2. ipad 2 is based on A5 processor Witch is one step ahead as compared to iphone and ipod touch and because of that one one is able to solve this puzzle.

But Now its Look like Comex’s has found the way to jailbreak ipad 2 and he has updated the website for JailbreakMe. The updated page, according to Comex himself, is simply a tease. The web page features this image:

The photo shows a signboard which plainly says “PDF”. Now this is obviously pointing towards a potential PDF-based exploit. meaning that you have to browse to http://jailbreakme.com from your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to jailbreak it. JailbreakMe can run on any device, with both old and new iBoot, Unlike previous methods, JailbreakMe works in a whole new way: you don’t need any PC / Mac or cable but just a simple internet connection and Mobile Safari.

Still there is no ETA from Comex so We have to wait and watch, i am sure he will be come with some good news for ipad 2 owner by the next week.

Here is Some Good news for all the people who are waiting for ipad 2 jailbreak from long time, ipad 2 is only evice witch is not jailbreak yeat. but now its Look like father of jailbreak Geo hotz Coming to jailbreak ipad 2.

Recently iphone and ios hacker P0sixninja, tweeted that Chronic Dev Team and the well-known hacker George Hotz are challenging for who jailbreaks iPad 2 first. and Geohot accept the challange.

@p0sixninja: I challenged geohot to dump the iPad2 bootrom before me. Maybe having a worthy opponent will motivate me to work harder =P

@p0sixninja: he accepted, he said he didn’t have an iPad yet but he’s getting one really soon

As GeoHot is not on Twitter and all the account on Twitter after his name are fake. p0sixninja confirmed that GeoHot has accepted his challenge, Currently he does not have ipad 2 but Going to get soon.

Here is some Cool news for all the people who are waiting for ipad 2 jailbreak, Now after long wait well-know iPhone developer @Veeence has made announcement on Twitter that ipad 2 jailbreak will be available in 3 Weeks.

The recent  tweet which led to this news:

It’ll likely work on the iPad 2G as well, as soon as it gets jailbroken. Rough ETA is about 3 weeks, according to @p0sixninja.

As we know that p0sixninja of Chronic-Dev team is Working on ipad 2 jailbreak and Now its Look like He has Done the ipad 2 jailbreak and it will be available in 3 Weeks.

Earlier this month, p0sixninja challenged Geohotz to provide the iPad 2 jailbreak before him. The reason for such an open challenge was to motivate himself to work harder on jailbreak.

Jailbreak iOS 4.3.3 Untethered Using RedSn0w [Windows]

iOS 4.3.3 was released by Apple a few days back. Below is the guide on how to jailbreak iOS devices running on iOS 4.3.3 using RedSn0w. This jailbreak is completely Untethered on iOS 4.3.3. Please make sure not to update to 4.3.3 if you rely on an unlock.

First you need to have the following things with you:

iTunes 10.2.2Redsn0w  for Windows [Download from Here]iOS 4.3.3 for iPhone, iPod & iPad [Download from Here]

Now follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Connect and Restore/Update your iPhone to iOS 4.3.3.

2. Once iTunes has completed the restoring/updating process, open Redsn0w.

3. Click the ‘Browse‘ button and select the iOS 4.3.3 you downloaded.

4. You will see the screen below when the firmware has been verified.

5. Now check ‘Install Cydia‘ and click Next.

6. Switch off  your device and plug it into the computer, Click Next.

7. Now Redsn0w will guide you through series of process to get into DFU mode. All you have to do is to follow the on-screen instructions as shown below.

8. Once you have followed the on-screen instructions, your device will reboot. Redsn0w will start uploading the new RAM Disk and Kernel. Just wait till you see the below screen.

PSA: The Dev Team’s redsn0w Untethered Jailbreak Still Works With iOS 4.3.3

If you’re sittin’ there in iTunes with your finger hovering over the “Update” button, anxiously awaiting word of an untethered jailbreak for the just-released iOS 4.3.3: it’s go time.

In fact, it was go time almost immediately after the update went out; turns out, the exploit that the iPhone Dev Team has been using for the last two builds of iOS is still wide open here, so they just had to tweak some checksums to give the redsn0w jailbreaking tool the go ahead to patch iOS 4.3.3 files. You’ll need to download the latest copy, but it should all be smooth sailing past that.
