Wii 2: 8 GB internal hard drive, 25GB and supports 1080i?

After it was officially announced just over a week ago, 2 Wii continua ancora a far parlare di se. La nuova console Nintendo , which we have reported the alleged list of games dedicated to it that we will see at E3, is enriched with new details – apparently – certainly seem to be very close to reality.

According to Kotaku , which speaks explicitly of “reliable sources”, the next games console from Nintendo will be able to read media from 25 GB (single-layer Blu-ray?) but have an internal memory of 8GB only , much quantitative below expectations and having considered the size of some DLC still on the market.

Concern still some doubts about the maximum resolution that will support the console, according to information in possession of Kotaku has not yet been specified whether the contents will arrive in 1080p and if you stop to 1080i . For the less “practical” for purely technical factors, abbreviations, and that’s the difference between the two formats (from Wikipedia ):

The format 1080th presenta una risoluzione complessiva di 2.073.600 pixel(1920×1080) con interlaced scanning , which is transmitted for each cyclesemiquadro format, alternating lines only odd or even image. So each update involves 540 lines and 1,036,800 pixels. The format 1080p , commonly referred to as Full HD , is the newest of the three and is equivalent to the version with progressive scan of the 1080th , so each update involves all 1080 and 2,073,600 lines of pixels of the screen, but is usually 24 fps , the speed of film. This article was written by hassanjanujee on Monday, May 9, 2011 at 6:31 am.
