A few months ago NVIDIA started it’s Kal-El project to make quad-core processor, successor of Tegra 2 Dual core super chip – as the world’s first mobile quad-core processor for Next generation Android Smartphone. Kal-El processors will provide long battery battery life, powerhouse of a quad-core processor with a 12-core NVIDIA GPU with 3D stereo support. Rumor suggest that this Monster will be equipped in Next Google Phone Nexus 3 and expected to hit Market sometime this winter.

The project is still in development and demoed on Honeycomb. We are expecting Kal-El processor will sport on Ice Cream Sandwich as Google confirmed the next of Android will merge Smartphone and Tablet later this year.
